Bangladesh National Women’s Volleyball Team Secures Bronze at CAVA Women’s Cup 2025

Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) is pleased to announce the successful participation and achievement of the Bangladesh National Women’s Volleyball Team at the CAVA (Central Asian Volleyball Association) Cup for Women 2025, held in Malé, Maldives.

Rigorous Preparation & Training

To ensure a competitive performance on the international stage, the Federation organized a comprehensive Residential Training Camp which commenced on July 1, 2025. This intensive program focused on:

  • Enhancing physical endurance and athletic conditioning.
  • Refining technical skills and tactical execution.
  • Strengthening team synergy and strategic coordination.

Tournament Overview

The prestigious international competition took place from December 20 to 25, 2025, in the capital city of Malé. The tournament featured national teams from across the Central Asian region, including:

  • Bangladesh
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Afghanistan
  • Maldives (Host Nation)

The Delegation

Bangladesh was represented by a highly disciplined 18-member delegation committed to upholding the nation’s sporting integrity. The squad consisted of:

  • 14 Elite Athletes: Selected through a rigorous nationwide scouting and trial process.
  • 04 Technical Officials: Providing expert coaching, management, and medical support.
