Bangladesh Volleyball Federation (BVF) is pleased to announce that Mosa. Ferdousi Begum, Chairman of the National Housing Authority, has been nominated to serve as Advisor to the Federation’s Women’s Volleyball Sub-Committee.

On 11 October 2026, the Federation formally presented her with the nomination letter and extended its greetings with a bouquet of flowers. On the occasion, floral greetings were presented by BVF General Secretary Mohd. Abdul Mamin Saddam, Joint Secretary Md. Shohel Rana Linkon, and Treasurer Md. Imran Haider Kanchan.

Meanwhile, Ms. Shamima Parveen, Superintendent of Police (SP), Dhaka District, has been nominated to serve as Vice-Chairman of the Women’s Volleyball Sub-Committee. She is the 98th Superintendent of Police of Dhaka District and the first woman to hold this position.

On 12 October 2026, BVF General Secretary Md. Abdul Mumin Saddam formally presented her with the nomination letter and extended the Federation’s greetings with a bouquet of flowers.
