The Bangladesh Volleyball Federation is set to organise a special Reception and Felicitation Ceremony on 30 August 2026 to celebrate the outstanding international achievement of the Bangladesh National Men’s Volleyball Team at the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026.
The national team delivered an impressive performance in the recently concluded international volleyball competition and finished as runners-up, securing the Silver Medal for Bangladesh. The achievement marks a significant accomplishment for the country’s volleyball and brings pride to Bangladesh on the international stage.
To celebrate this remarkable success and formally recognise the dedication and contribution of the players and team officials, the Bangladesh Volleyball Federation has arranged the felicitation ceremony as a special occasion in honour of the national team.
The ceremony will be graced by Mr. Md. Aminul Haque, Honourable State Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports, as the Chief Guest.
Among the distinguished guests attending the programme will be:
- Mr. Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam, Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports;
- Mr. Md. Daulatuzzaman Khan, ndc, Executive Director (Joint Secretary), National Sports Council; and
- Mr. Mohammad Zahed Parvez Chowdhury, Director (Sports), National Sports Council.
The programme will include a prize-giving ceremony to honour the players and officials of the Bangladesh National Men’s Volleyball Team for their achievement at the CAVA Men’s Volleyball Championship 2026. A photography session with the national team players, officials and distinguished guests will also form part of the programme.
The felicitation ceremony reflects the Bangladesh Volleyball Federation’s recognition of the hard work, dedication, discipline and competitive spirit demonstrated by the national team throughout the championship. The Silver Medal achievement represents the collective efforts of the players, coaching staff, team officials and all those associated with the national team’s international campaign.
The Bangladesh Volleyball Federation takes pride in the team’s commendable performance and extends its heartfelt congratulations to all members of the Bangladesh National Men’s Volleyball Team for bringing honour and recognition to the country through their achievement on the international stage.
